We're in Orlando this week at General Council...getting ready to share the Overflow story in a couple of sessions. Some great stories are coming in from students and leaders on missions giving. I had another wonderful trip to MN. I'm so excited to see how God is using Mark Dean and the awesome youth leaders of that state to dream big dreams for missions. These guys are putting together one of the strongest and most thorough strategies for utilizing Overflow that I've seen. Honestly, I wish I could fast forward to the end of this year to see the end result of how God honors their efforts.

I love holidays...most all holidays. But none is more significant than Easter. The day that reminds us that Christ conquered sin and death...the day He broke Satan's hold on mankind. So, the drug addict can be freed from bondage. The adulterer can be forgiven for his betrayal. The self-righteous can be cleansed from his pride. It's the story of Easter! It's been an amazing day at JRA. Not exactly sure of the final numbers, but we saw approximately 15,000 attend one of our fours services with about 100 people experiencing the life-changing power of the Easter story that brings salvation. It was awesome!

Well, it's with mixed emotions that we say good-bye to the Mortons. A family that has answered the call of God to be missionaries to Sudan.I've known the Mortons for nearly 10yrs, and I've always respected their love for God and their faithfulness to his Church. As much as I'm going to miss having them around, I can't wait to see how the Lord uses them on this great adventure.
This video is a little clip from their going away party!

Our goal was to raise $50,000 to buy a vehicle for Convoy of Hope, an organization that's doing some incredible work in Ghana, Africa. I asked Darin Poe, our District Youth Director to share any additional needs he was aware of so, in case we exceeded our goal, we could surprise a few extra missionaries with a special Christmas blessing. This video captures that thrilling moment! It was unbelievable to see all the ways the students and leaders of Realife gave above and beyond their ability. With God's help, we raised a grand total of $75,389!
I'd ask that you'd pray with me as we collect the remarkable stories of all that God did during this missions drive. Right now, we're writing a book for students on the subject of giving and we're praying that God will use it to challenge teens across the nation to give $1,000,000 to missions next year. That's right, one million dollars. We really need God's help on that. Can't wait to see how God does it!!!

Adam said he wanted some "face-time" on the blog. He even went so far as to verbalize his jealousy over my daughters' talents and abilities and their ever-increasing popularity on the web. However, I was forced to overlook that, and go ahead and honor his request when he started juggling pumpkins.PS - Don't try this at home. Adam is a trained professional.
PSS - After you're impressed with Adam's skills, click on the Gibbons Family link to the right where you will be amazed by the performances of Candice, Kelly Grace, and Bria.
