Many people live each day with fear or worry over what might happen or could go wrong - And for good reason! In 2006, AARP magazine listed the number of injuries stemming from everyday activities in the United States.

3,925 people were injured while brushing their teeth

11,243 suffered injury while reading

43,117 while riding a stationary bike

15,974 while stapling paper

No wonder we're a society filled with caution against what possibly-potentially-might-could happen...kind of like the fine print of possible side effects written on the label of your medicine bottle.

But God wants you to experience His peace and His joy despite the potential dangers that surround your daily to-do-list or even the real storms and difficult circumstances you're facing right now.

Wendy Craighead's Gravatar You are truly amazing to be the encourager in the midst of being encouraged!! Thanks for sharing such a wondeful and timely message. We do tend to focus on the problem at times instead of the answer-which is Jesus Christ. Thanks for lifting us up! We are believing for your release to return home. So glad to see the amazing progress after such a tedious surgery. God is truly caring for you and you'll be back to Reallife very soon. You are a treasure to JRA & we are very grateful to share your experience and be able to pray for you in this time of need. May the Lord continually bless you & your wonderful family!! Brandon Shank's Gravatar Thank you for allowing us to be with you in this intimate time of your life. I appreciate your transparency. It is a crazy concept to think God is well aware and in control of situations that don't necessarily seem to favor us in abundant ways. Thank you for being willing to do whatever, even if that means praising God in the midst of a major operation. This surgery is helping a lot of people. You are a different breed. Love you bro.

Shelli Albright's Gravatar Hi Pastor Scotty, I just checked your blog for the first time since I heard about your surgery and I've only watched a couple videos but am amazed at how you are always the encourager,
even when facing such a big struggle of your own. I had a major surgery this summer as well (my colon removed) and there were times when I was in the hospital that I just felt so low and
feared that I would never get better. During those times I prayed more and read my bible more but I never put my face on a camera and focused on others. You're such a wonderful example
of the kind of person & christian that I want to grow into. My husband & I have 2 boys that are 10 & 12 and we are getting ready to have our 2nd anniversary of becoming a christian family
and I am so blessed by Kelly Grace singing about how she is loved by someone wonderful. I hope I always remember to keep that child-like faith and always remember how simple having a
relationship with Christ is. Thank you and your family for being such a wonderful example and encouragement to so many of us. You are truly a blessing from the Lord.l

Best wishes in your healing, I will continue to pray for you.
