Up and Moving!

This progress is unbelievable! We started our day at 5:00 a.m., went into surgery by 7:00 a.m., came out by 8:45 (see videos below for arriving and prepping for surgery), and I was up walking by 9:00 p.m. with my new disc. Some people look at this and marvel at medicine. I look at it and think "Our God answers prayer!" Can't wait to share with you some of the stories from the hospital . . .stay tuned!

AMAZING!!!! I can't believe you are up and walking. I have been checking the blog every few hours for updates and seeing you walking makes it look like it is several weeks post-op.
I see you haven't lost that "Gibbons sense of humor" (depends on what socks I'm wearing - haha). Keep getting better.
I tried calling your dad's cell phone yesterday. If you could, please tell him to call me.

We loved Kelly Grace's video. What a gift our children are. We stand in awe as to what the Lord has done and will contiue to do. We continue to pray a total and complete healing for you. We serve a BIG GOD that can move mountains. What a blessing you are to our family we love you and your family.

It is CRAZY to see you up and moving so soon after surgery! It is such a blessing, for us that are praying, to see the progression! Scotty, You are a amazing brother and an incredible man of God. Wow! This video was so encouraging to watch! My jaw just dropped when I saw you walk a few steps just hours after they replaced your disc! That is awesome, Pastor Scotty! Praise God for His miraculous healing and for a speedy recovery. You have been in my thoughts and prayers and hope you, Casey, and the girls are doing well as you're recuperating at home. I still plan on coming to see you at some time, if able and whenever you're able to receive guests! I'll be praying for you guys! God is so good!
